Mobile Care That Comes to You
Recovery happens at home, so that's where I bring my care. I'm a fully mobile practice, and I arrive with everything needed for your session, including a professional treatment table, clean linens, and supplies. All you need to do is make a little space and let me know you're ready.
Why in-home care makes a difference
After surgery, getting to an appointment can be one of the hardest parts of recovery. Many patients can't drive, are sore or swollen, or are managing drains and compression garments. In-home visits spare you the car ride, the waiting room, and the extra strain on a healing body, so you can rest before and after your session in your own space.
Seeing you at home also lets me do something a clinic can't. As an occupational therapist, I can see exactly how your recovery fits into your daily life. That includes helping you get your compression garment on and off, setting up your bed or recliner so you can rest and sleep in positions that support drainage and follow your surgeon's precautions, and working out safe ways to get up, dress, and shower around incisions, drains, and movement restrictions. I can also teach you simple self-care lymphatic techniques in the same space where you'll be doing them between visits, so your recovery keeps moving forward on the days I'm not there.
